On Thursday, March 4th, bring your pooch to the Metrodome for some offleash fun. For only $1, you and your pup can roam around the concourse and check out some other dog friendly businesses. The event lasts from 5-9.
We have been allowed to have a food drive, and we’d like to make it a big one. March is a big month for food shelves, as MN Food Share contributes extra food per pound collected in the month of March. This is a chance to help people and their pets at the same time!

The Seward Coop is having a Pet Project food drive the first two weeks of February. We’re hoping that this will bring in a LOT of food.
Please tell your friends and if you haven’t been there yet, go check out the new Seward.
On a personal note, if you’re in the neighborhood, please stop in to some of the other fine establishments in the area. I think that this would be an excellent way to support a neighborhood that recently experienced a tragic and senseless event.

There’s a lot to be grateful for this year. So many generous businesses have had food drives for us and we had our first annual Pet Project food drive/fundraiser. We’ve gotten quite a bit of food this year. All of the receipts aren’t in, but I think we’re somewhere around 25,000 lbs of food since July. How wonderful.
Also, thanks to the generosity of so many of you, we’ve been able to assist over 20 families to take their pets to the veterinarian. The peace of mind that it gives a family to know that their pet is going to be alright is priceless.
Thank you so much to all of you that have supported The Pet Project and I’m looking forward to seeing you in the New Year.
Happy Holidays

The Ordway is having a food drive for The Pet Project during their run of Beauty and the Beast. Please help make it a success by suggesting to anyone who might be going that they bring some pet food! We are really hoping to fill a lot of bellies this holiday season and hopefully collect enough food that we can get a lot of families through the holidays without having to worry about how to feed everyone in the household.
Thank you for your help. Please click on “Holiday Food Drive” in the following link: http://www.ordway.org/performances/0910/disneys-beauty-and-the-beast.asp
