Cutest. Cards. Ever.

Wednesday, February 2nd, 2011

Jessie Marianiello of Stray Dog Arts has some really wonderful greeting cards for you!

The perfect gift for your best friend, family, neighbors, cohorts, mailman, dog-walker and everyone in between! Give as gifts or share them one at a time. Each greeting card has a quote on the outside and is blank on the inside so you can include any note you might like!

The story behind the cards:
ArtBARK!, an art contest for kids, is a celebration between our dogs, our families, and our communities. Winning artwork was displayed with paintings by Jessie Marianiello, in the Dogs of Edina
gallery exhibition at the Galleria (Edina, MN).

The artwork featured on these cards was created by talented young artists in support of The Pet Project, an organization working to keep pets and their families together during tough times. Artists range in ages between 5-18 years old!

The mission of The Pet Project is to help people keep their pets by providing pet food and basic supplies to those are struggling. The Pet Project also provides connections to basic veterinary care and information on pet-friendly housing.

A large percentage of ArtBARK! greeting card proceeds benefit The Pet Project.

Sadly, we are out of the running for the Pepsi Refresh grant.  We are able to try again, though, in April.

Let’s all keep our fingers crossed and in the meantime, I’ll try to figure out more ways to promote the voting!

Did you know that Stunt Puppy, a local company that makes leashes and collars, has come out with a special edition Pet Project leash and collar?

They are a beautiful copper color with turquoise stitching.  And the best part…hands free!  You can adjust the leash so that you can clip it around your waist, arm, backpack, whatever is handy!
